Physical
sensations are one way the soul communicates through the
physical body.
Our Spirit’s electromagnetic energy, or what is
sometimes called ‘life force’, is the energy that runs
all the systems of our body. When that force is free to
flow, health is the result: physically, mentally,
emotionally and spiritually. When impediments to this
flow are present, imbalance in one or more system
occurs. The life force can be utilized and directed
using specific techniques to return to a balanced,
healthful state.
Through awareness, one can sense and learn where these
blocks are, how they began, and eventually, how to
redirect the energies. This magnificent journey can
lead us to our own soul’s wisdom and healing potential.
Bodywork can help give us a palpable sense of our own
soul’s aliveness. Spiritual direction from a bodywork
perspective gives us the experience and a way to deepen
our relationship with our own soul.
